Barefoot Seminar's this April
Running Technique, Running Injuries & Barefoot Running
The next seminar is being held on Monday 30th April 2012 at 7pm
Barefoot Running has been sweeping the globe in the last few years and has been billed by many as the answer to improving running performance and decreasing injury rates. Here we’ll present, discuss and critique the evidence in a light-hearted seminar. The presentations titled “Running technique, Running Injuries and Barefoot Running” are suitable for anyone who’s interested in learning more about running technique and the latest concepts in technique, injury prevention and footwear. There will be plenty of time at the end for any questions that you may have. Key topics will include:
– Does barefoot running technique represent optimal running technique?
– How footwear can influence technique and the pro’s and con’s of different shoes
– Running technique and injury prevention
Lou Nicholettos is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Certified Barefoot Running Coach.
