A Complete Introduction to Barefoot & Minimalist Running

Monday 2nd July 6.30- 9pm. Personal Best Running Store, Carlyon Bay, St Austell.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to start barefoot or minimalist running with the correct technique. If you’re thinking about transitioning to barefoot or minimalist running then this evening workshop will give you all the information you need to do this safely and effectively. The session will provide a fun & informal learning environment, with less financial commitment than our 1:1 and small group sessions.

The evening will include a mixture of seminar presentations and practical barefoot running coaching and exercise.

  • Myofascial release techniques- Practical
  • Transitioning smoothly (presentation)- injury prevention, training plans, what to do next & footwear recommendations

All this for only £25 per person.

(the session will only go ahead with minimum of 5 participants)

Please wear running kit suitable for the weather conditions on the day. If you have barefoot/ minimalist footwear bring this with you (Don’t worry if you haven’t as the practical session can be completed barefoot)

Injured Runners
For runners with ongoing or recurrent injuries we strongly recommend you attend a 1hr Running Injury Assessment with us before doing a barefoot workshop, or that you book a 1:1 barefoot session. This will allow us to give you our full expertise and attention including Physiotherapy assessment, detailed video analysis of your current form, functional assessment and individualised exercise plans relevant to your symptoms.
